This board has a 15 pin D-Sub socket port, that you can plug any classic PC joystick into. Onboard is a ATtiny816 helper chip that acts as a I2C peripheral using our 'seesaw' library. Two STEMMA QT ports mean you can plug this board in using a 4-pin JST SH cable to any microcontroller or microcomputer with I2C support and read the joystick X & Y plus the two buttons, even if your main chip doesn't have analog inputs. There's even a 5V power generator on-board since joysticks are expecting that voltage.

This is a simple board with four Seven Segment Display soldered onto the board and some through holes for soldering pins. This board has two shift registers, SM74HC595D to drive each seven segment display reducing the amount of wiring you need to have the displays functional. The only wiring you need to do is supply 5v, GND, SDI to pin 8 on Arduino, SCLK to pin 10 and LOAD to pin 9 on Arduino. You can also daisy chain these displays by connecting P2 to the new board P1.

It is a 8 channel or 8-bit logic level converter that is great for interfacing sensors or 3.3v logic components with 5v logic level microcontrollers or vice versa. This unit will do the level shifting required to allow these devices to communicate without burning out each other. If you want to convert an analog signal you require an op-amp.

  • The 74HC595 contains an 8-bit serial-in, a parallel-out shift register that provides data to an 8-bit D-type memory register.
  • The 74HC595's memory registers have three-state outputs.
  • The shift register and the memory register have separate clocks. 74HC595 shift register with the highest priority direct clear side (SRCLR), A serial input (SER), and a serial output for cascading.
  • When the output enables Is high, the output of the 74HC595 will be in a high-impedance state.
  • Both the shift register clock (SRCLK) and the store register clock (RCLK) are edge-triggered. If the two clocks are tied together, the shift register will stay one clock pulse ahead of the storage register.
