A 5V LED strip can be configured as addressable with an Arduino or simply as a regular LED strip that most people are comfortable with. If you do not have the whole kit and you have only the strip, you can use the following basic connection: Connect a 5V controller to the wires of the LED strip (Like our LED-STRIP-CONT5), then connect the two wires of the controller to the screw terminals of the female jack to screw terminal adapter (like our 368-ADA), then plug a 5V 2AMP Power adapter (like our 276-ADA) to the female jack of the 368-ADA.
