Recommended:
Do not mix unleaded and leaded solder in this solder pot.
Flux should be used on wires and components to increase wetting and solderability.
Insure good ventilation. Avoid inhaling vapors when soldering.
It is normal for solder and flux to produce dross on the surface of the solder when using this solder pot - dross is undesirable for soldering, gently push dross away to outer limits of pots.
Remove dross from solder pot whenever you finish using pot and turn it off.
