The ABRANano is ABRA's very own Arduino Nano V3.0 Compatible ATmega328P with the FT232 chip (not the Chinese CH340).

The Arduino Nano is a small, complete, and breadboard-friendly board based on the ATmega328P. It offers the same connectivity and specs as the UNO board, but in a smaller form factor.

The Arduino Nano is programmed using the Arduino Software (IDE), the Integrated Development Environment common to all our boards and running both Arduino online and offline. For more information on how to get started with the Arduino Software visit the Getting Started page.

Note:

The ABRANano can be powered by means of the Mini-B USB or 6-20VDC through the unregulated external power supply pin labelled Vin (RAW) and GND.

The ABRANano delivers 5VDC to your target device that you might want to interface, using the pins labelled 5v and GND. (You can power your sensor off this)

ABRANano is compatible with the ARDUINO IDE version 1.8.1 and lower, if you wish to run it on any version higher than this you will be required to select the processor with (OLD Bootloader) found under Tools >  Processor

Key Notes to Factor in regarding the Old Bootloader Versus the New Bootloader

Old bootloader runs on optiboot, whereas the new bootloader runs on ATmegaBOOT. The two significant changes from the old bootloader to the new offers the ability to prevent endless reset loop after a watchdog reset and the upload baud rate has been reduced to 57600 instead of 115200.

Read more about it here: https://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=150419.0 and https://arduino.stackexchange.com/questions/51866/arduino-nano-atmega328p-bootloader-difference

The benefit of the older version is the size of the hardware definition that will be programmed onto the NANO will take 0.5kB whereas the new ATmegaBOOT requires 2kB. This offers excellent usage of space for those who are trying to squeeze in as much code as possible!
