1 Meter, 30 LEDs 5VDC SK9822/APA102 IP30 RGB STRIP – WHITE PCB
A 1 Meter Strip of awesomeness, that is what we use to describe this product. Unlike our 12V strips that use RF controls and can only drive the entire strip with Red, Green or Blue at a one instance; this product is addressable allowing the user to control each individual pixel. The downside of pixel controllable LEDs are that they run at 5VDC, so you might want to pick up a power supply designed for these strips at 5VDC or DC barreled Jack power supply at 5VDC. Each three pixels draw approximately 60mA on white, so you might want to calculate the total amount of LEDs you have in mind and find a power supply with the sufficient amount of current to supply them.
This strip comes in a IP30 waterproof (resistant) rating so the product has no silicone coating whatsoever. Keep away from humidity and water.
This Strip is controlled by SK9822 or commonly referred as APA102 and you can daisy chain more strips if you feel like it and provide the required current.
We also provide a test code from NeoPixel Library or FASTLED to help you get this strip up and running.
