ESP8266 ESP12 Test Board WiFi Module 

Handy battery powered ESP8266 ESP12 module test board. Includes on board LEDs, RGB LED and light sensor. Can be setup and controlled without programming using the demo android application. 

ESP8266 WiFi UART Serial Module ESP-12 

With breakout board and battery holder. 

This module uses 3x AA batteries (not included) and has a 3.3V regulator onboard. Additionally:  

  • 1x Power indicating blue LED
  • 6x Red LEDs mapped to GPIO pins
  • 1x RGB 5mm LED mapped to GPIO pins
  • 1x CdS photo-resistor mapped to ADC GPIO pin

Additionally, pins on the ESP are broken out to pin headers.

Download the app, power the module and connect to the AI-THINKERxxxxx WiFi Network using password: ai-thinker

Open the app and connect to the device, you can now control the LEDs and read the ADC value

Optional step: Connect the ESP8266 module to your home/work WiFi network using the app. Setup the external IP address to match that given by the router the the ESP. You can now control the device from your network!
