12864 RepRap Full Graphic LCD Controller for 3D Printing (Marlin Firmware Compatible)
Based on the 12864 LCD, this board is designed to be used with any 3D printer controller board. It offers a resolution of 128x64 characters to be displayed. Using the Marlin firmware, you can select to be used as the full graphic controller that will display icons and text.
It features an rotary encoder to scroll through the select menus and press downwards onto the encoder for selecting options.
Next to the encoder is the buzzer for confirmation of menu selection and completion of specified print jobs.
On the left is the emergency stop button should you need to stop the print in case the filament is wrong, the file selected is wrong or the risk of the nozzle smashing into the bed. (All these variables depend on the firmware coded into your Printer controller)
You also have the option to adjust the contrast using the potentiometer provided on the left most side of the graphic controller.
On the back, you are provided with a standard SD reader and the classic serial connection EXP1 and EXP2. (The cable and adapter for the Arduino Mega is also provided.)
