SCS16LUU – Linear Motion Ball-Bearing Slide Pillow Block - 16mm Diameter
The SCS16LUU is properly referred as the Linear Pillow Block, it can be commonly found in CNC applications. The diameter of the bearings inside is 16mm, so your rod has to be exactly 16mm in diameter for this pillow block to work.
Perfect for inserting in linear rods and fixing plates on to the provided tapped screw threads. This module is recommend to be installed under your table bed. The screw thread size requires that you use M5 screws for fastening anything onto these pillow blocks.
We also recommend using white lithium grease to help smooth the rod for a seamless and noise-reduced movement.
- Please note when you purchase the product, inside there will be a small screw with a different thread. This unit is to be installed on the side of the block. It is typically called a grease injection port.
