Analog Temperature Sensor Module for Arduino

This temperature sensor is less complicated to run on the Arduino microcontroller requiring no libraries and a simple three wire plug in. Based on the thermistor, when the ambient temperature increases the resistance will increase. Holding the board with the pins facing towards you, S on the left is for the Signal output to analog pin 5. The middle pin is for 5VDC and the right most pin is for ground with a marking of – on the board.

Specifications:

  • Operating Voltage: 5VDC
  • Sensor Type: NTC Thermistor
  • Temperature Range: -55 to +125 °C / -67 to 257 °F
  • Accuracy: +/- 0.5°C
  • Dimension: 30 x 15 x 5 mm (L x W x H)

Note: Some KY-013 boards are labeled incorrectly, if you are getting inverted readings (temperature drops when sensor is heated) try swapping signal (S) and ground (-).
