Infrared Receiving (IR) Sensor Module for 5v Microcontrollers
This tiny unit allows users to connect to any microcontroller that operates at 5v logic level. Using an IR transmitter or remote you can send commands or queries to the microcontroller that has this module attached to it. Commonly used for robotic control from 5 feet distance or more.
Holding the board with the pins facing towards you, the left pin is – for ground, the middle pin is for 5v power supply and the right most pin is the signal pin that goes into the digital ports of your microcontroller.
